The West of Portugal has an (almost) common denominator: the Ocean and the Atlantic coast right next door.

So it came as no surprise that some of the best surf destinations in the world (Ericeira, Nazaré, Peniche, Santa Cruz) are located here

 

  And to complete this lovely  picture,  one can find historic mountain villages, spas, castles, museums and fascinating monuments, delicious cuisine, and a lot of places full of history and nature.
