Serra da Estrela

SERRA DA ESTRELA

The highest mountain in mainland Portugal is called Serra da Estrela.

With just under 2,000 meters, it’s a set of valleys, rock formations, breathtaking viewpoints, waterfalls and river beaches, among the groves and along the water courses.

The cheese produced in the region is one of the most popular in the country, in addition to the recent evolution of some traditional textile articles that have been reinterpreted by new designers.
